Q: I'd like information about joining TIMA.
A: All the information we have about joining TIMA is available on our website - click here. TIMA is now a member society of The Technology Association of Georgia. Please visit the TAG website in order to join: http://www.tagonline.org. You can even join the organization directly from the home page - click the "JOIN" link at the bottom of the screen. TAG currently has seven Societies and eleven Special Interest Groups that operate under the TAG 'umbrella.' As a member of TAG, you may participate in any or all of these groups.

Q: How much is membership?
A: Membership is $150 per year for individuals. Students get a discounted rate of $35.00 per calendar year with a valid Student ID.

There are several levels of Corporate membership that represent group discounts over individual membership, beginning with Corporate Level 1 that is $495 and allows up to four persons to be listed. (NOTE: Corporate memberships are specific to the individual and are not be transferable for meeting attendance. Each employee must be specified on the membership.) Q: I need to renew my membership. Can I renew over the phone?
A: We encourage all members to renew via the TAGonline.org website - it's the simplest, fastest way for you, the member! Log-in to the "My Membership" section of the website and it should tell you immediately that your membership is now expired, and the text prompts you to "renew your membership online." Click this link and follow the prompts to renew your membership for 2001.

For our members' security, we do not accept credit card numbers over the phone and no renewals can be done over the phone. You may renew via the TAGonline.org website, or we will be happy to e-mail you the TAG Membership Renewal form. (Please note that processing this manual form will require at least two weeks before the membership is posted as renewed. This is why we encourage you to renew online.)

Q: I want to upgrade my membership level for this year.
A: Upgrades can be done via the TAGonline.org website. On the online renewal form simply select the desired level of membership and click the 'Submit' button. If you would like to upgrade to a Corporate Level 4 membership, please contact the TAG office at 404/817-3333.

Q: I want to downgrade my membership level for this year.
A: Please contact membership@tagonline.org for all membership downgrades, or print and send in this paper form.

Q: I need to check the status of my membership.
A: You can do this at any time by logging-in to the "My Membership" section of the TAGonline.org website. This gives you full access to your membership record and you can make changes to your contact information as necessary. If the membership is expired, it will give you that message and prompt you to renew for 2001 before you can access your membership record again.

Q: Our company has moved . . . need to change contact information.
A: Please send an e-mail to membership@tima.org including the old and new information and we will make that update to your membership records within one week.

Q: I'd like to get a copy of the TIMA mailing list.
A: Due to member requests, the Interactive Media Alliance (TIMA) and the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) does not release the membership mail list for purposes of mass solicitation. The TIMA Membership Directory is available/searchable online via the member resources section of our website. However, the online directory is designed for current members to locate specific companies, products, or fellow members that they may have met at various TIMA/TAG networking functions. Q: When does TIMA meet?
A: TIMA holds 10 meetings and events per year - four educational events and six networking meetings. The frequency of meetings is one per month (excluding August and December) which are usually held on the second Thursday of every month. All the events we have contains a designated time for networking - all members are highly encouraged to attend TIMA/TAG events and utilize the face-to-face networking opportunities they provide.
